I remember getting the first Stray Cats album in 1981 when "Runaway Boys" was in the charts. It's one of my all time favourite albums. Brian Setzer is a brilliant guitar player and truly one of a kind.

Happy Birthday Brian!

It seems like only yesterday my friends and I were standing in front of you during a Stray Cats show at the Old Waldorf here in SF circa 1982!! What a great show!!
That was the moment when I decided to try playing rockabilly guitar and you were my teacher...via records that is! And a GOOD one I might add, if not very frustrating at times!
But I learned a lot by playing along with your albums and even had a chance to teach a few of your tunes to my students here in the states.

Thanks for the music Brian. You are a true inspiration and I look forward to many more years of music from the Rockinest Cat in the Galaxy!!
